Throughout the year OPACC will be holding special events in a number of different regions. If you are planning a special event or know of one that is taking place, please let us know and we will add it to our website.  To get your event added, please email info@opacc.org.

OPACC board meetings for 2010

OPACC board meetings are scheduled quarterly, on Saturday's from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30p.m. unless otherwise booked.  The dates for 2009 are;

  • Sept. 11, 2010 in person (AGM)
  • Nov. 6, 2010 teleconference

Sick Kids Parent Support
Since Sept. 2009 OPACC has supported weekly drop-in parent support. Susan Kuczynski is our Toronto parent coordinating this parent drop-in. With the opening of the new clinic these drop-in’s will be located in the waiting/resource area.  This funding has been provided by Lainie’s Angels in the States, thanks to Stathi one of our biggest supporters.

Other Events

Dragon Boat Fundraiser 2010
Candlelighters Simcoe has already recruited members for this year’s team and have started a waiting list. This year’s date is August 28, 2010 down at the waterfront in Barrie. Sponsors help to support the costs of the registration, t-shirts and practices. For $250.00 a sponsor will have their name on our t-shirt. The Dragon boat fundraiser helps to support our Expressive Art group as well as the weekly Art Therapy group. All donations $20.00 and more will receive a charitable receipt.
