OPACC works to establish a network of local community-based Parent Support groups to ensure that families are supported once they are back home from the hospital. We currently have active groups in the following Ontario communities:

 

• Cambridge

• Hamilton

• Kitchener-Waterloo

• Niagara Falls

 

If you are passionate about grassroots local support, you can donate to a specific community group fund on the form below and we will add the donation to their account. Community groups use these funds for social events,  workshops, inviting guest speakers, special group projects, to purchase resources for the group (i.e. books, awareness merchandise, hospital parking passes, gift cards to pay for families' expenses, care packages, etc.), etc. Ultimately, it's up to the individual groups to decide how they use the funds as long as it's for their members' support, development and benefit. OPACC reimburses groups for expenses only after receipts are submitted so that we can maintain proper accountability on the use of funds. Thank you!
