Upopolis is a free, private online social support network available to youth 10-18 years with hospital experiences or chronic medical conditions. It provides youth living with a chronic medical condition access to peer support from other youth, access to a team of child life specialists seven days a week, and medical information created for youth and vetted from reliable sources. In addition to supporting ill youth directly, they also have support programs for the SIBLINGS (aged 10-18) of youth living with a medical condition,  for youth who are navigating GRIEF, and for youth of adult patients. Youth will have access to peer support, resources, activities shared by their child life team, and more.

OPACC is a Upopolis online referrer. If a youth is interested in signing up, all they need to do is complete the user pledge form below (if it doesn't load, you can also access it  here).

 

Within 48 hours of receiving the referral from OPACC, Upopolis will send the youth a link to the email they provide with information on activating their account.
