Gilda's Club Simcoe Muskoka: The Resonance Project Children's Art Program
The Resonance Project, a dynamic six session workshop for children ages 9-11, will be held on Tuesday evenings, 6:15 - 8 pm, from January 24th to February 28th 2012 at Gilda’s Club on Quarry Ridge Road in Barrie.
Join Artist Claudia McKnight as she provides an overview of the contemporary use of collage and spurs on your own creative exploration! No previous art experience is necessary. All art materials will be provided. There is no cost to participants. Children explore the layering of acrylics, phototransfers and collage materials in a warm, supportive environment.
As with other children's programs at Gilda's, a parent is expected to be in the Club while the child works in the art room.
Participants must commit to all six sessions, since they will be working with an extended, layered theme.
A limited number of spots are available and will be selected by lottery on Friday, January 13th so be sure to sign up early! Registration is through Gilda’s Club Simcoe Muskoka.
