BrainWAVE support program from Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada

BrainWAVE is a support program for families with a child (19 years of age or younger) with a brain tumour. Through the program, BrainWAVE offers you and your child/teen the opportunity to connect with other families in a similar situation and to obtain much-needed support, information and education.

Several times a year, BrainWAVE families meet through fun activities such as: trips to sporting events, historic sites, concerts/shows, and other family attractions. These free events give members of your immediate family a welcome break from treatments and doctors’ visits. All events are planned and organized by volunteers on the BrainWAVE Committee.

BrainWAVE currently operates two chapters: one based in Southern Ontario and one in Lower Mainland British Columbia. Current information about BrainWAVE can be found at: http://www.braintumour.ca/97/brainwave-program
