Faces of OPACC campaign
Throughout the month of August, OPACC invites you to be a part of our new campaign entitled “Faces of OPACC”!
While we have collected dozens of wonderful written testimonials throughout our 20+ years of supporting families, we thought that it would be even more impactful for the world to hear directly from - and put a face to - real childhood cancer families telling us their child's story and how OPACC has helped them during their childhood cancer journey.
All you need to do is click the “Share Your Story” button at the link below and record a short (3 minute max!) video right through your webcam or smartphone answering this question: “Tell us your child's story and how OPACC has helped your family in their childhood cancer journey.”
Perhaps you were helped in a meaningful way by our Parent Liaison at SickKids? Or we empowered you to start your own community parent support group? Maybe it’s as simple as finding useful information on our website or making connections on our social pages?
Any way that OPACC has helped you at any time - big or small, recently or years ago - we want to hear about it!
We will gather the video testimonials and share them throughout Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and beyond as an awareness and engagement tool for both childhood cancer and OPACC.
As an extra added incentive, everyone who submits a story will be entered into a random draw to win a family pack of Playdium Playcards worth 150 credits each to use at Playdium Mississauga (limit one entry per family; limited to immediate family members only living at the same address).
Submissions will be accepted until September 23, 2016.
