Prediabetes in Childhood Cancer Survivors Ups Cardiovascular, CKD Risks

After age 30 years, early-onset prediabetes and diabetes develop in as many as one-third of childhood cancer survivors, placing them at increased risks for CKD and cardiovascular events. Intervening at the early stage may be life-saving for this population.
