Childhood cancer survivors tracked in Ontario but not B.C.

A group lobbying for long-term care of childhood cancer survivors in B.C. said Ontario is more than a decade ahead in the field.

Survivors and their families told reporters in Vancouver Tuesday they deserve the same followup provided to 4,000 patients monitored by the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario through a program launched in 2001.
