University of Minnesota study uncovers new genetic factors in childhood leukemia

A new study led by researchers at the University of Minnesota Medical School has identified genetic factors that may help explain why African American children are less likely to develop acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) but tend to face worse outcomes when they do.
