Did you know that Tuesday, December 2nd is GivingTuesday?
GivingTuesday is a new Canadian movement for giving and volunteering. Just as Black Friday kicks off the holiday shopping season, GivingTuesday is the opening day of the giving season - a global day of giving and a time to celebrate and encourage activities that support charities and non-profits.
Most people know about Black Friday and Cyber Monday ... now GivingTuesday is coming to Canada - a new day for giving on December 2, 2014.

You can help support OPACC on GivingTuesday by:
1. Donating online through CanadaHelps. Visit our GivingTuesday profile page and click the "Donate Now" button. Every dollar counts - even $5 can go far! Read some examples of how far your donation amount can go on our profile page.
2. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter, and share how OPACC has helped your family! Use the hashtag #GivingTuesdayCa to raise awareness of this movement.
3. Volunteer your time! Our Parent Liaisons at Sick Kids welcome volunteers who would like to come out and join them at our Tuesday night drop-ins! You don't have to be a trained Facilitator to volunteer. Just come out and see what running a support group is like, meet families, and generally help out!
